ECHELON 8 (Formerly E-8: Think Tank)

WINDOWS MEDIA FILES

TRAILER - Large - Cable/DSL 720x486 - (32MB)

The film was produced for the incredible low budget of $50,000 and dares to prove that high quality, low budget filmmaking is still attainable and necessary in these times of economic hardships.  The independent, action drama includes amazing cinematography, explosions, tactical gun shootouts, helicopter escapes and numerous car crashes; all the backdrop for an intense roller coaster ride through past and present conspiracies. Principle photography took place in New Jersey, New York, Connecticut and Pennsylvania. This movie is being billed as a fictional portrayal, even though some elements are based on fact.

Synopsis:
An elite CIA team had their fingerprint on the terrorists and was closing in on them at Logan airport, in the very early morning hours of 9.11.01. This team was blocked from entering the airport by the FBI and was prevented from acting on the intelligence that could have stopped the terrorist attacks, before the planes lifted off. In the aftermath of this tragedy, many lower level operatives were blamed for the tragedy and this elite CIA Echelon team was dismantled. Eight years later terrorist activities are on the rise again and the government will do whatever it takes to stop these new threats including reviving the new and improved top secret unit known as Echelon 8 (E-8). The approval for this controversial team comes directly from a congressional shadow government committee known only as the Keepers. E-8's newly chartered purpose is surveillance of and protection from domestic terrorism.
